Advanced Piezoceramics and Custom Manufactured Ultrasonic Transducers & Devices

Mission Statement

Piezo Technologies is the Gold Standard of innovative Piezo solutions to worldwide specialty markets, using advanced manufacturing techniques in a speed to market culture.

Meet the Piezo Technologies Leadership Team

Piezo Technologies develop advanced piezoceramics and custom-manufacture integrated ultrasonic transducers and devices.Piezotech, LLC, parent of all the Piezo Technologies' companies, was formed in 1999 to aggressively pursue business opportunities using piezoelectric technology, especially for ultrasound applications. The first two members of the Piezo Technologies family are Keramos, a manufacturer of advanced piezoelectric ceramic crystals, and Etalon, a manufacturer of custom piezoelectric ultrasound transducers. These businesses were acquired in late 1999 and the capability of each company has been bolstered by significant investment in additional technical personnel and advanced design and manufacturing equipment. Other businesses providing key complementary capabilities, e.g. advanced engineering design and systems design and assembly, are expected to join the Piezo Technologies family over time.

Piezo Technologies is expanding its line of advanced piezoelectric ceramic crystals. The current primary focus is the addition of 1 - 3 composite materials. Several applications are now under active development with current and potential customers. This material became an important addition to the standard product line during 2001. In addition, Piezo Technologies is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a significant grant from the Indiana 21st Century Research & Technology Fund to develop very high temperature materials. Piezo Technologies is pursuing this high temperature application in conjunction with the Purdue University School of Materials Engineering, a leading Midwest research university. By virtue of this "joint venture" with Purdue, Piezo Technologies has direct access to the university's state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.

Piezo Technologies has attracted additional transducer design professionals to its engineering staff. Piezo Technologies understands that progress is made by not only taking advantage of the latest in technical innovations, but also adhering to the best of the "tried and true."
