Modified Lead Metaniobate Piezoelectric Ceramic for Non-Destructive Testing in Immersion Applications

Lead metaniobate piezoelectric ceramic for non-destructive testing in immersion applications. The lead metaniobate piezoelectric ceramic Piezo Technologies' K-85 was formulated specifically for use in non-destructive testing transducers at frequency operation of 5MHz and below in immersion applications. It has the distinct advantage of higher signal to noise ratio than lead zirconate titanate without sacrificing loop gain.
